Trust Me, if you know what your doing you can lay down a good time with a stick, really. I used to bracket race for years with a stick and was very consistent with it but that's not the important part here. The important part is from one week to the next I switched from the 4 speed stick to an automatic with a high stall converter and slowed down 2 tenths in the 1/4, conditions where about the same from the one week to the next too.
I have only read one other guy on here explaining how to drive a stick at the drag strip that really knew his $hit.
PS: I don't know why but it seem that very few if anyone really paid any attention to his advice. If you like rowing than get the stick.

WOW, great video, really capture those multiple 10 second times very well. The C7 Z06 A8 is doing exactly what I expected it to do in the 1/4 mile, just ripping off high 10 second consistent passes, BONE STOCK, all day long!
I have to get me one of these 10 second grocery getters!
