My car is wrapped
Hello all. I got my car back from the shop that was doing a full vinyl wrap. I went with Gloss white. I debated on doing Xpel but after seeing it and talking my local installer I went with the colored wrap.
I'm so excited about the results. The white is so much brighter and whiter than the stock color.. I was there when they had part of the car done and from a panel that was finished to one that wasn't made this really stand out. The stock color almost looked cream color not white. I can't wait to park next to a painted car.
Last night I went to dinner at a place that was doing a cruise in also..And no one believed me at 1st when I told them they could not see paint on my car. haha
Just had to share I am super excited. I know its not for everyone but for my needs I think it pretty nice..
Here are a few pictures of my car.

wow...thats a vinyl wrap ? - hard to believe ! looks excellent
-- if you don't mind...what does something like that cost ? i would guess that they remove body parts, or does everything stay on the car while its done ?

Looks GREAT. Yea there are many different whites, we have GM artic white, gm diamond white, SRT bright white, infiniti majestic white, they are all different. I did my snowmobile in bright gloss white wrap and it looks killer like your car, brighter than the snow.

I paid a little 3 grand for it. Has a 7 year warranty, and installer will replace any panel as needed when I tear it up with a cone while autoXing..

yep. good observation!! If you saw the rock chips on the front bumper and rear fenders and how crappy GM paint is. It would make sense. my car has less than 3k miles on it and I already had 5 chips of the front bumper that went thru the paint. .and the rear fenders looked like they were sand blasted. and don't get me started on the rear brake ducts.
I bought a white car because I loved the color. .had to cancel my shark grey when I saw the white one.
I struggled with a color changed. between the satin mentioned above and the satin white pearl.(looked amazing in the sun) but not in the shade or after dusk.

It's not a bad deal. Most people are paying around $1500-2000 to get the front end and part of their qtr panels clear wrapped. So in essence for another 1k you are getting a full car wrap. I would do it if I could find a person to wrap the whole car for 3k
