Default 1st place NASA TTU in stock C7z @NJMP thunderbolt

Great weekend with NASA at NJMP Thunderbolt. Ran the chicane for the first time after going there for 5 years. Like it better with out.... Anyway car was awesome and once again very happy. Ran 1:31 which was fast enough to win TTU. I was 4 th fastest of all TT cars. Fastest ran 1:28's. Fastest in race group was also 1:28's so the stock Z held its own. No heat issues with the car and it was in mid 80's. TT sessions are only 15 min so that's why.273 oil temp. Not using 2nd in the tight sections helps for sure. It may be a tad faster too since the car is more stable. It was more 4 th track day on the cup tires and they were shot.... Def would have been faster with fresh tires. For me 3 days max with the cup tires.

Default Great Driving Vinnie

Congrats! Did you install the CAI? If so, could you notice a difference?

Thanks, Paul

Thanks! No car is completely stock. I did track alignment and 80/20 water/coolant.

great runnin! What was your ambient air temp? 80/20 really seems to help keep the temp down

Awesome job, great driving Vinnie.
So I went to a 20% Dex concentration with WW before Roebling. I have sessions where the coolant stabilized in the mid-240's (during one session after 11 laps stabilized at 243-244* for remainder of session) and oil stabilized at 293* at the same point.
Would be curious to see if your car did the same thing.
