Bought the z06 because review said better radiator. Grrr.
That is really p--s poor. No way that is enough radiator for 650 hp. I am sure my c7z51 would overheat at a track day. My c5z with 600whp, na, has a Ron Davis radiator and does not get hot at all. It was pathetic with factory radiator.

DeWitts makes a better radiator for the stingray.. wonder if it is better than the Z06 one
It would be a lot better than the factory. Ron Davis stuff is great too. I think he will make you whatever you need radiator wise.

Default This reminds me of an old Rock Hudson movie!

I think he was playing an American auto manufacturer executive that left out or put in a cheap bracket or something to save ~$10 per car back then.

This is not the car nor the group to cheap out on parts with. It's not going to take the press and owners years to figure out something is up.

Default A8 overheating after five Laguna laps

Have a friend there now. He reported that car gave overheating warning after five laps. Ambient temp about 80 degs.

Asking for his PDR data.

I was there all afternoon. I did not see a ZO6 there. I did see a Blue Z51 Stingray and a Black standard Stingray. Since you posted this in the ZO6 forum I assume you're talking about a ZO6???????

Got a general temp warning, then noticed that water was approaching red line so he backed off. He did not have display set to monitor other temps. He did say he passed sound with a minor lift neat the booth, so that's good. (no lift = red flag every lap).

Lag Blue Z06. Black interior. His name is Greg. He may not have run all sessions. He was supposed to be running his Miata to prep for race.

Brutal. Third one in about a week between the Motor Trend test, LG Motorsport, and now this. Summer is coming and it looks like it's going to only get worse.

The PDR wasn't in lap mode, so just a blob of laps...Anyone know how to specify start/finish after the fact?

Anyway, screen shot show max Oil temp 302; Max water 262; Max Trans 212

I may sound stupid but 260 sounds incredibly high to me. Oil temp also sounds nutz. I mean thats way above the boiling point ?
