Definitely will. Car arrives Wednesday if Hurricane Irma doesn't get in the way and I have an appointment to swap for Super Sports on the 18th so I'll install the lugs then if I have them by then.

Lugs arrived and look nice. SUPER light.

Just waiting for the car to arrive. It will be here 9am Friday but having paint correction, tint, stinger stripe, polished, xpel, cquartz done so I had to push swapping tires back to the end of next week. I'll have photos of them on the car hopefully by next weekend.

CRAP I need a 12 pt 17mm socket.

I can vouch for them, bought a set for my black Forgeline Ga1Rs.
They are laughable light, perfect machining and have spun them several times and that coating is tuff, they still look brand new.
Going to get another set for new wheels that are in transit now.

No. I've been running them for a long time on my car with stock studs and no issues.

It doesn't look modded or anything, but it got rid of the chrome lug nuts which is what I wanted.

An extended black titanium lug nut like some Ray's Engineering makes would be cool but probably would end up being double the price.

Hey Jason, I forgot to ask if there would be any issues running these tapered lug nuts on the OEM Z06 wheels.

These are design for OEM wheels (or any that use OEM lug nuts for that matter). They have the same tapered seat design.

I just weighed one on my scale, 16 GR. each.

Very high quality piece.

Now I need to paint the ends of the studs.

I was seriously considering these with a 17mm spline drive deep socket with painters tape (because I can't find that socket with a non-marring cover). On another forum they made this comment. Is this a valid concern?

"For lugs you don't want a 12 point, lead [SIC, I presume he means "less"] contact area on lugs. Harder on the lugs "

Also any care and feeding differences with these nuts compared to steel? Still okay to use portable and air impact guns, etc? The studs are ARP and the wheels are Forgestar F14 (A356-T6 material).

I have several 12 point sockets to choose from, but the one that fit's the lug nut the tightest is a Kobalt brand from Lowe's.
I run them down with a 3/8 in. cordless impact but stop short of actually tightening the lug nut.
Then I finished of with the torque wrench. No marks on mine.

That's what I ordered today, a set of these nuts, a Kobalt 87324 socket and a dedicated 1/2">3/8" reducer for the 1/2" drive impact gun. I'm not sure how tall the nuts are, but I would need a 40-45mm internal height closed end nut to cover the ARP 7708 stud, and these nuts look way shorter than that.

Not a concern. We torture tested these with and impact gun 100+ torques until the stud broke.

Is any lubricant recommended to guard against galling?
