I know when tracking you must touch the screen as you pass the start finish line to start timing. Question, do you have to do this on every track session at the same track on the same day? Or, will setting it once be sufficient?
You only need to set it once. The information is saved on the SD card and will be there for the next session or next day. You will only need to set the start line again if you erase the SD card (or obviously if at a different track).
I used the same SD card at Spring Mountain in 4 or 5 different cars and the start line was only set on the first lap of the first session. I think the info is saved in file .map.gpx. based on the file time & date.

Can anyone tell me what SD card I need to get? I asked a local owner of a '15 Z06 & he said his card just sez "SD". On a YouTube video it showed a guy inserting a "micro SD". I want to purchase several to record my drive home from NCM delivery and need to make sure I get the right card. Thanks.
There's lots of threads on the subject, but the PDR supports a 32 gb Class 10 or better SD (not micro SD) card formatted exFAT - which is how most of them come from the factory. A 32 gb card is good for something like 7 hr. There are tricks with third party software to format cards bigger than 32 gb.
