Default Crooked HUD

The HUD on my Z06 is a few degees off horizontally. Anyone else have this issue? Can this be addressed at dealer service?

Thanks

I noticed that as well...but I THINK it is an illusion...the hood goes down acrossed and it appears to be an illusion, if you block the hood or drive at night...it seems to be straight....

It's normal. Search C7 General for tilted HUD; numerous threads. Seems more noticeable depending on seating position and how you place it in your field of view. My 2014 2LT was off ever so slightly.

I know what you are saying, but I am talking about is the horizontal plane of the HUD compared to the horizontal plane of the road itself.

I will go for a drive and reexamination the issue.

My 2014 Stingray was tilted to the right. No optical illusion, because it was not even lined up with the main gauges. There is no fix that I've heard. Bugged me to no end.

I thought they fixed it, since my Z06 is correctly aligned.

I have level shelves in my garage and looking at both, the hud is 1/4 inch high on the right when aligned with the shelves.

My 2014 C7 was off by a few degrees too. My 2015 is spot on straight.

As long as the car is sitting dead nuts level that would work.

Mine looks to be low on the right after looking closer... weird. Now the real question...if it can be adjusted...is it worth having some yahoo at the dealer take apart a bunch of stuff to adjust it and risk the other things becoming an issue......

Going to the dealer today for a pdr and transmission flash and a creaky roof. The corvette tech at Ken Ware, Raven, should be able to tell me if it an easy fix.
