Which setting is best for launch control? Sport 2 caused too much spinning
I was looking at the various launch control for automatic c7 z06 models on youtube and It seems like sport 2 is preferred. I tried it yesterday like instructed and when I initially dumped the brake it started off fine then just started spinning too much (I think soon as it went into second gear). Was it wrong for me to stay on the throttle all the way down after releasing the brake because I was trying to get the best 0-60 time? I didnt try the other settings (wet, dry, race, etc) yet.

Car is completely stock. What is the difference between sport 1 and 2 during launch control? The excess tire spin didnt happen until the car went into second gear I believe. Next time I will use the PDR to record what Im doing.

If you launched without spinning .... especially after “power braking it” off the line..... the track wasn’t prepped well near or after the 60’. Test & tune nights aren’t the best for your best ET never mind 60’

The Launch Control feature will
initially limit engine speed as the
driver rapidly applies the accelerator
pedal to wide open throttle. Allow
the engine rpm to stabilize.
A smooth, quick release of the
brake pedal, while maintaining the
fully pressed accelerator pedal, will
manage wheel slip.
After the vehicle is launched, the
system continues in Competitive
Driving Mode (except Z51 and Z06
with Magnetic Ride Control) or
Performance Traction Management
(Z51 and Z06 with Magnetic Ride
Control).
