iPod connectivity issues?
I listen to audio books when traveling. It seems to make things go by faster.
I plug in my Ipod Nano at the dealership and the book comes up on the screen but will not play. The buttons do nothing.
I ended up shutting the car off and let everything reset. OK, now it seems to work.
I stopped a couple of hours down the road for lunch and when I got back in the car it does not even recognize the Ipod. The only media that shows up is my phone and "aux. in" which is even plugged in. I tried all 3 USB ports.
I've driven a lot of C7s without any issues.
Anyone have anything similar happen? I'm wondering if the '16 is different because of the "Apple Play" that is supposed to be included.
The book was a murder / mystery / thriller that was right at a good part! It ruined the last half of my trip.

I have 3 Ipods. I'll try the others and see.
This sucks. I recently sold my 2014 Jeep SRT because the Ipod player was pissing me off.
I don't recall the specifics, and he said that it still could be used with the steering wheel controls.
Might be worth a try.
I'm going to take it to the dealer but I hate to give it up after only driving it a day.
Thanks
