I made a small improvement on my PB 6/23/17 at Zmax Dragway Charlotte NC in hi ambient temp of 88 degrees and very humid. Had a good time none the less.

I agree with you. My tune is just too conservative and the trans needs to be tuned as well. I'm working on it. All in all it was too bad that day. I was still covering 2 Hellcat's, 3 hopped-up Mustangs, and was 1 of only about 3 different cars to get into the 10's. It was very hot and humid and the track wasn't prepped near what it should have been. That track lays dormant way too much. They don't have a weekend bracket program or regular test & tunes. It's really a shame.

Snorman sent me his last updated excel file last night. I will make an effort to fix the thread.
Thank you for your patience.

What drag radials do you have? Rims? Pressure? And what mode do you race in?
I'm finding that most of us drag race in Tour mode with just TC off, but I have seen a few lately that say they use Race mode and get higher shift points by doing so. I'm just wondering if that is accurate. My thought is that in Tour mode the car transfers its weight better to aid 60' time.

I ran Hoosier 315/30/18 on C5 Zo6 wheels in rear and Race Star 18x5 w/ M&H tires on front. I ran 17psi in rear, 45psi in front. I raced in Track mode with PTM in Race. My car is a stickshift so I can pick my shift points, but i powershifted right around 6600

If you don't spin, it does not matter what mode your in. The 60' 'should' be the same, by using track mode with an A8 it 'may' have firmer (more trans pressure for less internal slippage, Humm) quicker and higher shift points. However, I am not sure of these 'A8' statements.
I just rotate the **** to Track Mode and push the center button once to turn TC "off". I have tried touring in the past because it makes sense but found it not to really preform as well. 1.53 60's on the MPSS tires have always happen in Track Mode. Drag radials should be a piece of cake i.e. 1.4's/1.3's if you have the power which I believe you do! One last suggestion, my best 60's come when I launch with some rpm's, usually the higher the better, say 2000 and then experiment +/- from there. Loading the suspension may be the better thing to do.
