1LZ-Are owners happy with this package?
We are considering a 16 Z06 1LZ M7. With the discounting that has begun recently, a 1LZ can be bought for under $80k. Are those of you with the 1LZ satisfied or having second thoughts about not getting a 2LZ?
This car will never see a track so weight savings is not an issue. Is the extra $3500 worth it? The only thing that would be nice is the front camera and that can only be had with a 2 or 3LZ.
Dealer has cautioned that a 1LZ car will be hard to sell down the road. What else could he say, there is extra profit there.
Thanks for any insight.

No second thoughts here. About the only option I wish I had was the power seat position memory buttons, for the rare instance when my wife moves my seat! I bought a 1LZ with PDR/Competition seats, and added the dimming rearview, homelink visor, splash guards and stage 3 aero parts myself, which was easy to do and saved me a bunch of money.

Got my 2lz with comp seats for 79,200 used with 625 miles on it. Considered a 1lz, but im honestly loving the ventilated seats, I think this and the heated seats are the only options you get in the 2lz that make it worth it...everything else can be added or is useless IMO anyway.

I had my 1LZ Z06 for 5 months I'm glad I got this package... It's does not have the Extra Down Force... and Drag on the car...
That the 2LZ and 3LZ Z07 have which makes it faster and get slightly better gas mileage...
I am not a TRACK person so the 1LZ , is the perfect car for me...

Couldn't be happier . I ordered the aero package and front camera and nav though. Everything that I need , nothing that I don't .

You can get a 2LZ with stage 1 aero and have the exact same drag/downforce.

My 1LZ is just fine, the only thing I wish it had, but it isn't really necessary, is the lumbar adjustment on the seats. Everything else on the 2LZ, 3LZ upgrade, i didn't care about or would never use.
But, I drive 40-50-80 year old cars on a regular bases, so I am used to not having all that stuff.

I got the 1LZ, no interior upgrades. Since then I sat in a 3LZ. To be honest I didn't feel the leather was an improvement. The vinyl has a more interesting texture, the leather was plain smooth. I never think I'm missing options when I use the car, I never think I should have gotten 2 or 3LZ, the 3LZ options don't seem desirable to me. When I configure a Porsche online I find that I want many options, their base cars are neutered. The 'Vette comes nearly fully loaded in the base price.
I bought the Z07 pack and I love it.
My only regret, if any, is not getting the Cosworth PDR.

I ordered a 1LZ with PDR, Z07 and Comp seats. Only thing I miss is the garage door opener, but I bought a programmable for 50 bucks and it sits on the visor. No biggie.
I have ventilated seats in my CTS-V and, honestly, I never use them even in San Antonio summer.

The PDR is an option that can be added for something less than $2K, That is the only non-cosmetic option I ordered, other than the A8.
Did I mention the auto kicks ***? When you are accelerating at high peed, uphill, on a windy road, You can concentrate on other things besides shifting. The traction control or stabilitrac, or whatever, keeps the rear end from getting away from you on power upshifts on curves, also.

On my 3rd new 1lz and they resell quickly used because you can simply price them lower. Everyone likes the z06 they like a lower price as well.
This is the best 1Lz yet.
When they post the weight I think it is the 1lz being the lightest.
