I had the car up on jack stands earlier today and was about to remove the 3/4 side skirt. But couldn't see where the remnants would fall out. I'm just concerned they would fall out right in front of the tire while driving if I can't get them out during the install. I guess I can put it back up in the the air tomorrow and just give it a go.

Might be a good time to lower on stock bolts at the same time...

You might want to take the rear wheel well liner loose in front of the rear wheel so you can look along the frame.

That was something I didn't think about trying. I kept just looking directly underneath and towards the front. My neighbors must think I'm nuts. Car goes up.....I crawl around under it for awhile, then pace around it...then put it back down.

can someone show me in a picture/video where the stems of the rivets fall out?
Also, does anyone know what size rivets these are?

Also, is there a way to remove the rivets without destroying the side skirts? When the rivet head spins, it's going to eat up the plastic side skirt.

Does anyone even have a part number for these rivets?

Wish I'd thought of that when I installed mine!

Serious question...perhaps I am missing something here.

Why did GM use rivets rather than just using screws like they did on both ends of the skirts.

I hate %%@# rivets!
