This was exactly the problem my 2015 C7 had.

Unfortunately when I brought it into the dealer last month to get it fixed, I got seduced by a 2016 Z06 sitting on the showroom floor. I guess that's one way to fix a creak!

How long did it take them to fix it once the parts were in? I have a dealer that is telling me its a 1-2 day job. Looks to me like its a 1-2 hour job worse case. Thanks

Well.....print out the bulletin in post# 1, take it to your dealer, and point to the bottom of the document where it says:

"Labor Time 0.6hr"

That's 36 minutes!!!!! So you can tell him you'll just have some coffee in their waiting room and wait!

I had this done...it worked for a month and it squeaks worse than ever before. Anyone else try taking their car in a second time?

Mine was the first my dealer had done so they wanted me to leave it there for the day. Service manager said it took a couple hours.

I did have to bring it back because they somehow left a wire disconnected, so a few things didn't work e.g. homelink.

The Good News is the fix worked, ~5 months and counting.

This does not take a couple of hours. You can do it yourself in less than an hour. What a joke.

I know I'm REALLY late to the party on this one, but just thought I'd share this anyway. I was having this problem from the minute I got the car we weren't even out of the town I bought it in when these creaks and pops started and honestly, I was thinking a speaker was shorting by the crackle of the pops I was hearing, but then turning the radio off realized it was the roof. I feel so rusty, because I should've known what the issue was, this problem is a carryover from the C6s, and I did remember a fix we'd use: stick deodorant.
Yup, it works. Sometimes temporarily, sometimes permanent, but I applied a film of it to the locator pins front and back, pops gone
FYI, roof type doesn't matter because it's the pins causing the noise, but the carbon fiber roofs are noisier because the frame is a great speaker

I just replaced the pins with the newer ones with the plastic covers. Did the trick for me and didn't change out the strikers which must be internal.

I paid $31.27 each just two days ago at a nearby Chevrolet Dealer. They were offered for around $20 at online resources, but then the shipping brought the price up to nearly the same as the local dealer. The dealer does not charge shipping and had them in one day. They helped considerably, but I do need to change the Strikers as well. I used the Silicone Grease (12345579) to lubricate the pins and all contact points even though the TSB did not mention lubrication. I followed the recommendation for the C6 in TSB 08-08-67-013H. That TSB changed the recommended lubrication from the Super Lube to the Silicone Grease.
