New 2015 Z06 Delivery, DSOM color, Amazing story, plenty of pics !!
So since about 2009 I have been looking at ZR1 Corvette's. Tire kicker I was. Fast forward to about 2 months ago.
I am looking for a deal on a 2015 or 2016 z06. No real deals except for the dealer in Miami which has no Stick units
which turns out to be a blessing. Searching, searching, there she is, a 2015 left over with 5
miles. They basically come down to invoice. Still kicking tires I am, LOL. I ask for the price sheet showing all the pricing.
Sales man Lynn draws arrows to Friends and Family and Supplier pricing and says they need a number. Why did he do that ?? I
thought this did not apply to a Z06 ? Well I am no dummy and why not roll the dice, so the dice I rolled,
I have 2 GM employee uncles, one just passed My dad and step mom did work at GM as well but both have passed too Have my
aunt go online and get me a number, she calls and said 2015 and 2016 Z06 exempt. Run it any way, I say. She did, got the number.
I have this number and still kick tires as I have to send a wire, ship the car sight unseen. I decide if I get the employee
price I am buying. I GET EMPLOYEE pricing !! Saved like 11.5K on a $90, 500 ride. So I send wire, now it is shipping time.
I have to hire the shipper, http://sundayautotransport.com/ owned by Tom Sunday (young man in the pics). Scheduling is in place with some delays due
to filling a truck. Starting to get paranoid/anxious I am calling every other day, lone behold one day Tom answers instead
of the superstar Kathy. Turns out Tom still drives, he is bringing me my vette. Really ?? Are you serious, nothing like an
owner of a business doing the work, you know it will be done right. Scotts Chevrolet In allentown, PA was the dealer. Lynn was the sales man at 484-239-2186.
Why the hell did Lynn draw those arrows I ask again on that price sheet ??? They have a Black Z06 now. GM employee pricing ? Don't hold your breath but it is cold in PA.
Way to many stars aligning here guys, way to many !! I have always believed in fiat, proof here.

Congratulations! Love DSOM. In fact I spotted one at Ron Fellows with MFG plate on it from Detroit. That car made me want a Z super bad! Rock On and enjoy it, one hell of a car!
Not sure I follow... is the employee discount actually available despite what GM's site says? Or did the dealer pull a fast one on GM? I qualify for the discount so this matters...
I did not ask questions, I bought when I got the discount..........and yes I got the Employee discount. As always the discount is at the dealers discretion, even if they can they do that price, they do not have to sell at that price. This was 2015 unit ........

No it is not available from GM...yet. But this has happened several times and there are threads in the Forum about even military discount from a dealer! Unfortunately the dealers are usually out-to-lunch on this and never get reimbursed from GM.
They will be GM discounted someday, so be ready.
