I got notification from Rick Conti at Coughlin Automotive the other day that my TPW is 11/16/15...time seems to be ticking slower than ever now!

This car will be our key tool for developing Corvette-specific detailing information for the forum! We have planned a series of articles, videos, photo shoots, etc, and it will be featured on display at events throughout the 2016 season. Our first event will be Cars on Fifth in Naples, Florida on February 13th. We certainly look forward to meeting members of the Corvette Forum at all of these events.

Nice... got an email from MacMulkin the other day and my TPW is also on the 16th. We are doing the Museum Delivery since the dealer is in NH and I'm only 120 miles from the plant.

Stingray in Plant City has mine going in on Tuesday as well. They have been quite patient as I badgered them over the delays with the Spice Red design package. So, after close to a two month wait, my Z will be:

I'm getting stage 1 aero and having them add splash guards and side skirts. I'm also going to have them paint the hood and front fender vents. Some may find the vents weird, but I suppose I am weird, and this what I want.

My dealer told me they only build Z06's one week of the month. Mine just hit 3400 event code and TPW is next Monday 11/23. !!!!! Maybe they're building them until Thanksgiving. Great news.

Having done the factory tour in April, I can tell you that Z06's are built everyday the plant is running. All corvettes are on the same line, it is all about the sequencing of the parts on the line. As we went through the factory you could tell on the chassis line by the motor and tires sizes what each one was and of course the body line was obvious. The Z06's were interspersed between Z51's and the regular Stingrays.

I just got the email from GM.. car has been produced and is in shipping!!! It is the 5678'th Z to be produced this year.. wow!
