Son of a very famous man gets his special order Z06 and much more/pics *10-31-15
I'd like to say this week went fast but really the entire month did! Halloween is here and gone and before you know it there will be Christmas songs on the radio.
~I certainly get to meet quite an array of people selling America's #1 Sports Car and this year has been no exception. Google Thurgood Marshall if you aren't caught up on his work with the Supreme Court Justice back in his day. There is a reason there are Schools and Airports named in his honor. Back in August I got a call from Thurgood Marshall JR and he wanted to talk about ordering a new 2016 Z06 cpe. We made an appt and discussed all the options and walked the lot. An order was placed for a Shark Gray with Adrenaline Red interior. Yesterday Thurgood Jr of Northern VA took delivery and he was smiling from ear to ear. ~Severo T from West Islip, NY called me last week looking for a Black '16 Z06 cpe with 7spd manual trans, Comp Seats and Z07 Pkg. The yellow calipers really pop. We had just the Corvette in stock so he and his wife drove down and signed up. Plycon Trucking will be picking the Z06 up to ship to his door step.
~Dale D of Cumberland, MD took delivery of his NightRace Blue and Kalahari Convt at the Corvette Museum. So yesterday he stopped by to show me his new ride.
~Pete G of Mclean, VA was in the area and stopped by with his Limerock Green 7spd cpe. This color really pops.
~Several deliveries thru out the week in many different color combo's.
~Of Course we received a few truckloads...
~and in the service lane in either direction...
~From the desk of Andy T. Huntsville, Ontario Canada. In his own words-"Hi Mike: not sure if you remember me but you were kind enough to answer my questions this past summer about the 2016 Corvette I wanted to order (even though, as a Canadian, I couldn't buy from you). I picked up my car yesterday and have attached a couple of pictures. I ended up going with:

2LT
7 speed manual
Magnetic ride control
Chrome wheels
Thank you again for your help Mike. I will look for you if I make it down to Carlisle next August. Until then, please keep posting your weekly updates on Corvette Forum - they are terrific!"

I don't think I've ever seen anyone smile as much as Mr. Marshall in your first foto. Then again, why not? All great pics tho especially the ones of "Route 66." Ten seconds to liftoff of the T-tops ad is great----never saw that ad.
