is there an easy way to adjust the play in the clutch pedal? Mine seems to have gone a bit soft.

You may need to change fluid and/or bleed. there is no adjustment.
Search on "Ranger Clutch" .. Great threads there. you will be fine.

Agreed on needing to flush the clutch fluid. It does help. I did it at the 2 year mark, and am now coming up on the 4 year mark where I'll have it done again. For under $100, I'll let the dealer due it again due to the PITA slave cylinder access.

Tilton makes an adjustable clutch master cylinder, but I'm not certain if they have one for the C7. I put one on my Camaro and it helped quite a bit with the dreaded 2nd gear shift crunch, but installing it was not super easy and it changed the pedal feel completely. Overall, I'm glad that I went to the extra trouble since I was going to have to replace the stock one, anyway.

The degree of difficulty of installation on a Vette would be probably slightly more difficult.
