Z07 vs ZR1 ceramic brakes

Per BEZ06 (and I personally know and trust him), there are some differences, he has info out here on the forum about it here. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-question.html

The tires play a big part and weight of the car. The Z06 test was heavier with better tires than a ZR1. The ZR1 with added z06 tires should be the fastest stop.

I have both. The rear rotor is larger by a tad on the New Z.
With that being said....if both cars have fresh pads that have been set. Both cars can be beat on all day and the brake pedal will not fade. They will also feel the same at the end of the day as they did at the first of the day.
If you are measuring stopping distance between the two....I would have to ask why? Unless its a pissing contest, in which case......still doesn't matter.

Problembeing, most of the time you cannot reuse the wire because it gets melted to the pads.

Unsure of the calipers but from what I've read:
1.) Same rotors.
2.) Only difference on the pads is the ZR1 has a shorter pigtail on the wiring (low pad sensor). It can be extended to work with the Z06.

Reason I started this thread is because you can get nearly all the Zr1 components for a CCB conversion onto a steel rotor C7Z. Calipers, pads, rotors are all there and decently priced.
