Amazing! 500lbt at 2000rpm loses to a turbos midrange and less than 200lbt at 2000rpm.

I want to see Dodge do an ACR-X and still manage street legality...really spank ***...haha. I need Viper to go to the ring and run 6:58. I wish Dodge could pull this off and light a fire under GM's *** by kickin it a little harder.

As a car enthusiast - I have to agree that the 650S is a known - faster - car than the C7 Z06.
Trap speed tells me so as they trap between 135-138 MPH.
I don't know if any of the cars were modded - I do know the spyder is somewhat slower than the coupe 650S. So the videos could be accurate and not a rich owner racing on some bad settings...

I still think the 570s is a much faster car...McLaren doesn't mess around. As for track performance, I'd say they are likely very close...despite what the 'one' test showed. C7Z also has a lot more rubber than the McLaren.

A few weeks ago the factory drivers in a Z06 and ACR took me and others for hot laps at MRLS. The Z06 was really squirrelly at the limit, the ACR was stunningly neutral.

The Viper TA had the issue of a rear end wiggle under heavy braking on the track...it made a lot of guys nervous while tracking. IIRC, SRT's original response was trust the car and drive through it. Yeah, right!!...I'm sure the tire wall will be very understanding as I crash into it.

I personally think the 570s is faster than the C7Z...those cars are no joke...however what I find interesting is that the guys who have run at Atco or MIR (especially in the winter) when they are setting all of those C7Z records are also running 133-135mph in the qtr mile...IIRC was't the DA -1600 or something when that 570s ran 10.27 at 135mph? All I am saying is, I'd love to see them side by side in the winter time at ATCO/MIR...

IMO something is going on with the suspension of the Z06....lots of fast cars with minimal aero are not squirrely at the limit. Multiple test drivers have noted this, even the fan boys over at Motor Trend. Since 99% of us will never be able to wring the car out to the level a pro driver can attain doesn't mean GM shouldn't figure out what is going on. It could be as simple as the rear caster is off or there is some sort of deflection in the bushings or tie rods. With all the electronic nannies on these cars, even when turned off there is the potential that the stability control/ice mode/differential is still kicking in and upsetting the chassis when at the limit.

I'd rather have twitchiness under braking than mid-turn....
