Yes, please give us as many details as possible. Temp? Wheel and tires? Mode? Staging procedure? I see that your rt's are very long, curious why? I've seen that many times before and usually it's for turbo boost or trans reasons. Just curious.
Very impressive performance.

It's a track rental and he's not "racing" somebody in the other lane, so RT's are meaningless.

Okay, so I guess I'll be the one to ask the question - how exactly is it that you were able to make back to back passes in only 2 minutes?

I've made thousands of passes in my C6 and short of ripping down the return road at full speed or pulling a U-turn and coming straight down the track (neither of which I'm allowed to do or would even consider) there is no way I could ever run back to back that quickly.

It is a rental. I've made back to back to back runs at rentals without waiting. 20 cars with two lanes. That's why you pay $200 or more to run at a rental. If your time is recorded at the back end and the slip just prints out to a machine by the tree (like at Atco), the time to go from the traps to the staging lights can be two minutes.

You and I have different opinions of what matters on drag strip passes. Reaction time is never meaningless to me. In my 37 years of doing it, reaction time has ALWAYS been important and many times the sole reason for being successful at it. So call it that if you wish, but don't come pissing and moaning about it when someone schools you at the track.

The point is he was trying to set the FASTEST time, not beat the person in the left lane. There is a BIG difference there. So focusing on his launch was more important than beating the empty lane next to him and there's is NOTHING wrong with this. Why, because it wasn't a race!! This isn't the NHRA. Enjoy the accomplishment!

Without the 3rd decimal place it is likely closer to 3 mins which I have done before hot lapping at a track rental with no cars in line.

What is more impressive to me is the best ET is after the "hot" lap...

Those times are impressive. Congrats.
However, you stated that the car is all STOCK with DRs and that is simply not the case. The skinnies are apparent. By not disclosing that upfront, the entire claim becomes suspect. If you were running a Bolt-On or H/C setup, leaving out certain details is acceptable IMHO. For all we know, that car may have been tuned and/or converted to a flex fuel setup. As stated above, those times are definitely impressive and I have respect for those who can run a low 10 second pass rowing the gears. You may wish to edit your post to clarify.

I was there all day and there was no trickery going on. Hell, my cam only v went 9.99 that day on a hot lap. Not saying the air was great but the track prep was on point.
