unreal that these cars are 4500ish lbs. My friend back in high school had a 4dr Buick Electra 225 with an 455ci in it that weighed 4700lbs... that car was around 20' long and I dont think it was built using any aluminum or plastic lol.

Not very definitive without data but the Z06 appeared to beat the Hellcat every time.
Again, who knows when each car went WOT and with 10-second cars that makes a big difference.

Not surprising results.

The music playing in the background of the hellfat / cadi racing sucks.

CTS-V 4145 lbs /640 HP = 6.48 lbs/HP

Hellcat Charger 4592 lbs/707 HP = 6.50 lbs/HP

C7 Z06 3524 lbs/650 HP = 5.42 lbs/HP.

Joe how do you think the c6 z06 would do against the above competition?

And it would burn rubber for blocks and fill the cabin with tire smoke. I remember those days.

Considering hp/weight ratios this outcome would be expected
CTS-V___Hellcat____Z06
4100____4500_____3525 Wt
640_____707______650 HP
6.406___6.365_____5.42 lbs/hp

Outside of transmission, drivers, and CD, the Z06 should walk on the others, but the Hellcat is way too fast than the numbers would indicate.

Rumors are that the Hellcat motor is underrated.

Personally, I have not driven the cars in question from 0-150 MPH, so I'll have to rely on Car & driver, who has.

This is the results of their testing.

2016 CTS-V-------------------17.4 seconds

2015 Challenger Hellcat------17.0 seconds

2015 C7 Z06------------------17.9 seconds

C6 Z06---this is what they said when they were testing the Challenger hellcat..."It{Challenger hellcat} hits 150 mph in 17 seconds flat, 0.8-second ahead of the Viper and the same time as we recorded from the quickest C6 Corvette Z06 we ever tested"

Interesting that the Viper and Z07 will do 0-150 in almost the same amount of time. Everytime CD has tested a Z06, it's been a Z07, I feel that a stage 1 would do a bit better in 0-150.

This was deff a better race then I saw then last time! Much closer! Gotta give it to both cars! I am abit biased owning a V2 but Hellcat holds it own!

While that's true, the C7 Z07 also has the tire advantage of all the above cars with it's sticky Michelin 335 cup2 tires. That will help the acceleration in first and second gear due to better grip.

The CTS-V has narrower Michelin Pilot Super Sports 295's.

The Challenger Hellcat has even narrower Pirelli PZero Nero All Season 275's.

The C6 Z06 has the decade older Goodyear 325's(really poor traction).

The CTSV has the advantage of the manual in the roll races!

The 2016 only has the A8, at least for now.
