Default C7 Z06 Blower upgrade?

I currently have a bone stock 2015 corvette z06. It's a seven speed car and I was very happy with 650 horsepower until I got used to 650 horsepower. I know they have pulley upgrades for the stock supercharger but as far as I know the TVS R1740 is already spinning at a little over 20,000 rpm and is nearly maxed out. I know pro charger has a few different kits available pushing past 1,000 hp but I don't want to switch to a centrifugal supercharger. Since I've started thinking about upgrading I've wanted to use the ls9's supercharger but since it uses port injection instead of direct injection and the heads aren't compatible I don't think this is even possible. I just want to know if there's any supercharger upgrades out there for these gen 5 lt4's without upgrading the stock blowers or switching to a pro charger. And also how much boost can I push on the stock motor? I know I'll need to upgrade the fuel system to some extent also.

I have a Procharger D1 package with a cam kit to make 750-800 or you can do a Magnuson or Edelbrock approx 700-750. Give me a ring on Monday.

Little info on the 2300 edelbrock set up. some cases 120 rwhp increase over stock along the power band

You also spin the 1.7 faster add a CAI and a tune and get 700 at the tires which will require running DR's on the street. Going much above the 700 level with a bigger SC, cam and headers to get to 800 will not be usable except a very high speed on the freeway.

The HP/TQ levels should be limited to the available traction levels.

Has anyone combined the magnuson setup with nitrous? I'm wanting a little more than 750 I've heard good things about the magnuson supercharger and that the drivability has little to no change with it.

I'm trying to stay away from upgrading the stock blower. I don't want to spin it any faster than I already am. Ive heard people are having some heat soak issues when its stock and some who have changed there pulleys have had some extremely bad heat soak problems.

Whipple 2.9 is the one im waiting for but require taller hood or cut it like the callaway set up. The 2300 edelbrockwith 15psi/meth and 2" headers/no cats and the new borla 3 inch atak coming out that will keep the valves will do 800 just will need to keep a eye on fuel pressure

How's the Whipple 2.9 compared to the Edelbrock?

I'm not very familiar with water/meth but if anyone has any experience using a set up with one of those systems I would love some insight on it.

I wouldn't mind using the whipple but I don't want to cut/change my hood.

The whipple 2.9 will make more power yes. 40-50 rwhp at same boost level vs the 2300s from what ive been seeing. Downside yes you do have to cut the hood but the whipple top i think looks better anyway.

Black will look killer on color

Running meth will allow you to add more timing, add more boost, lower IAT's and reduces chances of detonation.

I agree, black would look wicked!
I assume torque levels with be comparable.

Yes it will. Overall more power options. Im looking into seeing if there is a interest for a 3.4L blower option also for us. If i can get a 3.4L made for us will give us so many power options and keep IAT temps down.

Are there any meth kits available that are compatible with magnuson 2300? And what kind've power gains would I be getting with the magnuson 2300 with the addition of water/meth?

Is any fab work needed to fit the f1x head unit on the lt4's? And what other upgrades would I really be needing to run it at around 20 psi?

Hey everyone! Went with the magnuson! Also gonna be ordering a set of LG motor sports longtube headers and full exhaust. At some point I plan on adding water/meth and maybe a little bit of nitrous! Thanks everyone for the help!
