Default There are two types of Z06 people in this world.

There are two types of Z06 people in this world.

Those with a Stage 3 aero kit and those who have a stage 1 kit that everyone mistakes for a standard C7.

ETA: Stage 2 is still cool in my book

Everyone is a winner! Just because one has a stage 3 doesn't make you cooler or less cheap than one with a stage 1. Some people don't desire the stiffer ride, perhaps are concerned with clearance issues, don't intend on tracking the car, perhaps doesn't like the look, they're are many reasons, even if it is budget, that's just being rude of the OP to post this. I personally have a stage 3, 3lz and I don't feel my car is superior to anyone else's.

If someone mistakes any Z06 for a "standard" C7, then I'd think they don't know Corvettes very well.

No doubt .
The only option i wanted from the Z07 package were the CCB's . I personally did not like the aero. I think most of the people who buy a Z in the first place are not really worried about spending another 10k.

He own the DVD set... The director's edition.

The difference between stages 1-2-3 is money. By half the price you can buy aftermarket parts. I saved lots of money, and also bought a stinger and Racing Jake. All by a fraction of what that smart cool 23 year old NOOB paid.

No, new guy, it's "waxers" and "racers"... and those categories are independent of vehicle options... it's all attitude.

Be nice. I see what he is saying. I just see the two groups as waxers and racers.

This is the same reason I ordered the Z07. I wanted the carbon brakes and for the extra 500 to get the Z07 my dealer said from a resale standpoint made more sense. I wanted the carbon flash aero as well and would have picked it up from one of the aftermarket vendors if I didn't have to get with the car when ordering Z07 pkg. I too like the stage 2 vs stage 3... hey to each his own.

Agree...be nice to the guy.

Only 34 post, so what! It doesn't mean squat...we all started with zero.

As to his point, I see what he means, we see and serviced many C7 Z06 and yes, they stage I does look a little more conservative vs. the stage III.

A couple of guys here at the shop prefer the stage I over the stage III...personally, I prefer the stage II...I'm not too crazy about all the visual noise up front, but I do understand why they did it. To me, the stage III does look meaner

Thanks,
Carlos

Default Sage 1

I have loaded up 3lz Stage 1!

It wasn't the $$ factor!

I like the cleaner look of Stage 1!
