Default A8 Z06 Runs 10.36 With 1 Mod

I came across this on Instagram yesterday:
View this post on Instagram
The car is an A8 Z07 that has a flex fuel conversion and a tune. I talked to the owner and he said he was running a 70/30 blend (30% being e85). The run was yesterday (2/14) at the Viper Nationals which was held at Royal Purple Raceway.

Here's the time slip:

The car had Mickey Thompson drag radials on the rear.

I believe that the Fuel Flex is considered a mod, nonetheless this car looks even faster than what it ran. By the way, thanks for sharing the information.

That's why the title says "with one mod"

Edit: you're right since its e85 and a tune. Mods, could you change the title from "with 1 mod" to "with 2 mods". Thanks.

Very nice!! 10.36 is no joke! That's an impressive 60ft time (1.56) if that is stock rubber...

They usually are with more experienced drivers. No offense to the driver in the video.
And it may have been some difficulty with the trans/clutch.

I think it's pretty much implied that FF conversion is a single mod. That's really splitting hairs.

The clutch line on the car ended up leaking and catching fire.

In perfect conditions with a perfect driver maybe. It's damn hard to run 10.30's with just tire. Sure it can and has been done...but if you don't live near Atco or MIR and maybe 1 other track...then good luck!

Very impressive, especially if it was done on stock tires and in just average air/average density altitude.

Were you at the Viper Nationals? Because from what I heard, this car was on stock tires.

Well if there was air in one of the tires I believe that is a mod to. Please find out the tire pressure and update title.
