MBWorld Forum Users Love the Corvette C7 Z06
Finding praise for the C7 Z06 around here is not that difficult to do. However, finding that same praise and admiration in a forum the likes of MBworld is pretty interesting.

I have a Z06 and a Mercedes Benz SL500, and I am active on Benzworld.org, corvetteforum.com, and less so on MBWorld.com. In my experience the members of the MB SL forums are just as enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and helpful as the members here. And we all share a love for cool cars!

Lol.
There are some really awesome driver's cars that MB make. The Black Series cars are fantastic vehicles and by all accounts the new GT-S is awesome. Most AMG cars are outstanding, although I'm worried that the AMG 'brand' is being hugely diluted since MB bought the company.
It's not all OAP's driving 350 4-matics you know! lol

The Benz and Vette are roommates and they get along fine. They're both still sleeping in the "top bunks" while we wait for the winter ice to finish melting.
P.S. I wanted to get a C7 but I couldn't find enough head and leg room when I tried one on. The steering wheel was between by knees and my head was crushed up against the roof.

Drifting
That's a little sad. Looking for validation from the MB forum. Sorry to say, but most AMG folks don't respect anything that comes out of Detroit. Push-rod engines, leaf springs, and torque converters make high-end car enthusiasts gag.

I dont own an AMG but my DD is a loaded E550. I dont discriminate when it comes to vehicles. I currently own German, Japanese, American made cars and motorcycles.
If I like it, can afford it, and want it then I buy it... I don't care where the manufacturers headquarters are located.
Well judging from the post above mine then you were partially right.

Speaking of MB. My first.....race in Mexico against a new C63 AMG and I got destroyed today. Hit rev limiter twice using paddles. Smh. Guess I got alot to learn on the Z06. I told my fiance who was with me....jeezus, red line comes up quick.

Advanced
Well, not so much the kiss of death. I've got a 3lz zo7 2015; my daily driver is a c63 pushed to about 540hp. Perfect for my la commute. A zero hassle car w few compromises. My prior amg's include a renntech sl55 and an s55. All great cars.
Soul sea, you sound like one of those purist Porsche guys! I'd still have a drink w you tho

My S550 is a superb car that packs all the bells and whistles MB can offer. The SL.s look dated and stodgy compared to the Z , especially the front headlights on the post 13 model year cars.

Why can't an MB owner enjoy the Z? My C7 Z is quite at home beside the SL/AMG and the GT-40. What's the problem? Different cars for different objectives. They're all 'fun' in their settings. So's a Miata or a Mini (a club member has his and hers Bentleys along with an AMG, and they drive their Mini-clubman a lot)- snobbery? Reverse snobbery? What?
