Aftermarket stage 2 aero... Which ones look OEM?
About to place an order and thinking of skipping the $2995 CFZ stage 2 aero -- for now. If I do, and if I want to add it later, who makes a reasonably priced OEM copy?
I've seen Katech and their pieces look OEM. Are they? I've also heard that some other brands have had quality/fitment issues.
I definitely want the OEM shape and am mainly interested in the front splitter and side skirts. I also definitely want a well made and high quality piece, but it need not necessarily be carbon (I'll be painting it carbon flash anyway, and the extra 1/4 lb. for some other composite would be fine as long as fit and OEM shape are maintained).
Your thoughts?
Thanks in advance,
Scott.

Check out my custom made ones that are a fraction of the cost and much more durable. You can choose different patterns as well. PM if you would like to know how to get them.
Just another few options.

I had the Katech splitter and side skirts on my C6 Z06 and they were awesome. So far I have the side skirts only on my C7Z. The products are second to none in my opinion.

I can attest our parts are the exact replica from a cosmetic stand point
We actually made our parts from cad drawings, and not from buying and copying a GM part. We also took care to make non visible changes like increase the inside surface of the rockers to further protect the undercarriage and spread the aero generated forces. Same is applicable to our undertray for the splitter, it is integrated to the visible part of the splitter, you can't tell from standing next to the part, but will by running your hand on the leading edge it is smooth and plus making it a much stronger part.
Some more info for those who care

We just recently had several of our kits installed on NCM delivery cars, you can see our rockers installed on this Stage 1 car.

Do any of the manufacturers have carbon fiber skirts where the weave and finish matches the factory exposed carbon fiber hood? And if so, are they mainly CF over glass or 100% CF?
