Default Gorilla Forged Steel Lug Nuts - GROUP BUY

Hi everyone,

I’m excited to announce that a group buy for Gorilla Forged Steel Lug Nuts is now live on Massdrop!

This group buy closes on Thursday, March 17th at midnight PST.

For anyone who is unfamiliar with how Massdrop works, our group buys are called “drops”. Each drop has different price points and associated quantities. The more people who join a drop, the lower the price gets.

To join a drop, just sign in to your Massdrop account (or create one) and click the Join button. Once you join the drop, your card won’t be charged until the drop ends.

Don’t hesitate to ask if you have a question about how the site or group buy works! More to come!

Click here to join the drop!

These Forged Steel Racing Lug Nuts are made to deck out your car without forfeiting strength. Made from forged steel with double knurling for easy installation and removal, they provide a firm hold and durability to last for years to come. If your car uses or has been converted to use studs for ease of wheel removal, these lug nuts are the perfect pickup. For a nice color accent to complement your ride, choose the Prism finish. For something more understated and sleek, choose Chrome or Black Chrome finish options.

I don't think they'd sell a bunch at $109 per lugnut

Unless the grade steel is "titanium grade".

Thanks for the laugh guys.

To answer the question - yes, this is for a set of 20 lug nuts.

Note that there are black and chrome options available at much lower prices as well.

Hey RandomTask,

I just asked Gorilla about the steel and will get back to you when I hear from them.

Any thoughts or chances that you could put together a group buy for Gorilla locking lug nuts? You'd have to have available chrome ones as well as black ones. You might get a lot of action on that item.

Thanks for the suggestion tzoid, I'm definitely looking into it. If I do get a drop going for the locking lug nuts, I'll make sure to include chrome and black options.

At checkout you'll be able to choose your finish which includes black, chrome, and prism (pictured above).

You know, I'm not sure since I don't know how long stock or extended studs are. Hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge on this can chime in.

What I can do for you though is measure the inside depth of the closed end lug nuts though. Open end nuts will thread onto any length stud, just a matter of how much sticks out the end.

Would be interested. I have extended studs due to spacers.

They have an open ended option which should be better for extended studs, as long as they are threaded all the way through.

It would have been pretty cool if the knurled portion was actually an end cap which screwed on to the main body of the lug nut.

Hey RandomTask,

Here is Gorilla's answer to your question.

The lugs in this drop are all hardened steel (for durability) and all of the platings are chrome or a variation of chrome so there won't be any issues with the finish. No painted on finishes and our chrome plating is high quality. Plus, we offer a one year warranty if you do have any problems!

-Jon
I also measured the inside depth of the closed end lug nuts this morning and the depth is 1.975" (5.02cm).

These seem really long. 2.1" length vs the McGard's 1.24" lug nuts.

Are these going to stick out a weird length from the wheels? The length has me slightly concerned, but am interested in the group buy.
