Spring Mountain Level 2, (may need a few more dollars) but nothing will make the car faster then investing in the driver

Pulley, tune, x pipe and flex fuel conversion will net big power gains and should be about 3000 installed. Im doing all of that plus a heat exchanger upgrade. I already have a Halltech and x pipe on my car. I expect 725-750 whp. Im going with HPA out of Delaware for the installation and tune.

If you've never road coursed before, it'll show you that the road course is WAY more fun than drag racing. Unless you're running 8s or something...
I say this as a lifetime drag racer who didn't find out about turning corners until his 40s. I like both, but the road course is way more fun for me, and it lasts a lot longer. Probably a lot harder on the car though, but its what it was built for.
The biggest thing is what an appreciation it gives you for just how overengineered these cars are for daily driving.
But if you must stick with drag racing, a pair of MT ET Street S/S in 20" will change your life. They're awesome for the track. And OK for the street, so I keep them on spare wheels so I can swap easily.

Used to road race karts years ago. Drag racing is WAY more fun for me. I'm sure spring mountain is very beneficial even for daily driving. Not knocking it. But I won't use my certificate because of the distance for a day or so (2400 miles each way). Now if there was a sponsored school a Palm Beach International Raceway, I'd certainly attend.

$1000. plus some cheap airline tickets and a few days in Vegas.
You would be happy you went, along with a great time. Do reconsider.
I see flights for $170.00 each way to/from Florida.

Thanks for all the mentions. We have multiple C7Z's we are doing now like our shop car that will soon be putting up 9 second slips so keep your eyes peeled for the theads poping up.
Under $3k for parts and labor with proven 9 second slips. IW 18 lower with belt, AFE air intake, Cora x pipe, HPA engine/trans tune. Done. Enjoy your 9 second slip in decent air. You will need a drag radial of coarse too.

I would say that if you had to drag-race go-carts vs road-course a Z06 your viewpoint would be 180 degrees different.
Give it a try. Worst case, you get addicted. Like I said, unless you're banging gears on a Lenco in an 8-second car, you can't compare go-carts to a Z06!
As for the OP, if I could run 9s reliably for under $3K I'd do it in a heartbeat. Don't know anyone locally I'd trust with that recipe, though. I always like to be about the 5th car, not the first customer.
