Couldn't a muffler shop just cut out the stock cats & replace with straight pipe?

Why do you need sims? Can't the OEM sensors be used?

Just curious.

Thanks.

maan restruction is cats and another restriction is inlet from manifolds. Oem sensors see more flow thats why needs sims or tune out rear 92s

Makes sense. Thanks!

So the Big Daddy sims (90 degree) x 4 is the solution.

Have you thought about selling them bundled with your kits?

Thanks fellas.

Your kit looks very solid.

If I was still living in the Bay Area, I'd swing by & have you install.

Are these the units I would need to order?

http://www.bigdaddiesgarage.com/angled-cel-fix.html

I wonder how they work/what they do? Doesn't look like they connect to the post cat senor harness in any way. It looks like a plug more or less.

For those of you who have done this, do you have to remove the stock x-pipe? I am keeping the stock x-pipe and just installing these main cat delete pipes. Can I leave the stock x-pipe attached to the axel back and just swap these cat delete pipes in place?

I think what you are doing when you do this, is illegal, federal emmissions.
Second. you will most certaintley void the warranty, which of course you do not mention.

Nice, very nice.

You do not need to move the x pipe to put in. Anytime you remove a cat its not smog legal and to date over 400 sold no warranty issues. Now if your afraid of warranty no biggie unlike tunes which leave a imprint you can swap my cat delete kit right out.

also intakes are not smog legal and many here said they put stock intake back in for warranty issues.

To date ive never heard of a transmission or motor go out because of cat delete kit....but have seen them go out with a bad tune

Thank you sir. Also, I'm removing the studs and using the ebay bolts. I'm assuming a dab of anti-seize on the bolts? And how hard is it to get to the 4 02 sensor plugs to unplug them?

much easier to jack up engine. Not hard at all.

02 sensors come out with old cats and install into new cat delete kit then i.stall. remember rear 02s will need the 90 degree big daddies 02 sims or a tune for cel.light

Gotcha, I already have the big daddies 90 degree sims. Where do you place the jack to jack the engine? Your instructions say to remove the 2 bolts, jack the engine up and remove the engine cradle, correct?

those of you that have this along with an x-pipe, I need your opinions please. Very interested in this setup as I already have the borla x-pipe.

After I installed my x-pipe, the low end noise got a tiny bit louder while midrange RPM and upper RPM got a good bit louder.

Are you guys hearing much louder exhaust during low RPM / light throttle? Or is it similar to the x-pipe, just gets mildly louder and still seems kinda quiet while cruising around 5-15mph in 1st & 2nd?

Trying to solve the low speed quietness with either axle-back or this cat delete, and need to know which would be more effective. Thanks!
