Default Nitto NT05R's ??

Thinking about getting a set of 19's for the rear and fitting them with NT05R's P345/30R19. Anyone run this setup? Will I run into any issues with these rear tires and the stock Super Cups up front? TIA

I have the NT05R'S on 19" factory reproductions and 345-30-19's and I am very happy with them.

This is the exact setup I will be running as soon as NorCalss gets more in stock later this month. 19x12 reproduction rears with nt05r's. Should be perfect since it will retain a stock-ish look and will have much more traction!

For those with them, how is the handling with these Nitto drag radials?

Kinda wiggly, squirmy feeling. Won't throw you in the weeds, but they don't respond as firmly as stock tires.

I only run them to, at, and from the dragstrip.

Tires are at least 75%. They have just been on and off the car; I don't know the exact miles. I am looking to sell both tires and rims if anyone is interested. They have the correct tpms to keep the car's computer happy.

it depends on your definition of handling....for instance I took an on-ramp with a buddy in my car who has never done HPDE track stuff in his life, and I run those tires out back, he thought the car handled fantastic (as his face is planted on the window lol -j/k), and that was only at 1/2 tilt (in comparison to that same on-ramps with my R compounds on)....so to him, they handle great...to me, I found them a bit uneasy and soft, obviously because they are not meant to do that (and I honestly had forgotten they were back there...lol).
Leave it as it may be, I would say they do fine (I do run 30psi in them), but can/will feel weird to you if you are used to high g turns with R compounds or better... hope it helps ?

ps: I rune those out back and NTO5 up front for Daily driving, and in the rain, I'm just careful since the backs do not have a whole lot of thread but it seems the two groves going around the tires do better than the R888 "arrow" grooves have thus far....

ps2: I might be willing to sale my rears, they have about 60-70% left on the threads...was thinking going to a full set of "normal" tires...let me know if you are interested we can talk about it.

I don’t like the feel at 80-90 you can feel the back of the car moving around. 30psi Whats the next better drag tire? Full slick?

It seems like every drag radial I have read about all feel wiggly, squirmy at speed, Is this fact or does someone know of a DR that does not? I believe they all will have this feeling at speed.
