Trouble installing apr heat shield on rk sports rear diffuser
I am attemting to i stall a carbon fiber apr exhaust heat shield on my rk sports carbon fiber rear diffuser. I am having a hell of a time getting the apr piece's alignment prongs (probably the wrong term, but are used for alignment) into the rk sports diffuser slots.
Is there a trick to getting the prongs in the slots? There are 3 across the top, one on each side, and 2 on the bottom.
Sorry i dont have any pics, but if you have done this to your car i am sure you know whar i am talking about.
Thanks.

These words make it sound pretty simple. Came right off a website selling the APR.
"For the C7 Corvette Stingray owner that has added a carbon fiber rear diffuser. Our real carbon fiber rear head shield is a complete replacement part made 100% of carbon fiber. Simply remove your existing panel and install this right into it's place. These rear heat shields are made by APR performance and will work with OEM stock rear lower valance panel or the APR carbon fiber lower valance panel."
Maybe you just need a minute break, and all will fall into place.
Oh, maybe the RK sprorts is not compatable?/ Apr shows 2 on top (screw holes anyway) and 2 on bottom/ The rk is 3 on top, 2 on bottom. I do not have pieces, just what i see on the net.

What doesnt make sense is the factory heat shield fits the rksport fascia just fine (i just took it off the rk sports diffuser.
Maybe the APR statement isnst accurate. Thats why i am asking for feedback from those that have worked with this combination.
