Most likely the best resale value of any car on the list also.

Buy American.

The 707hp Challenger at $64K is the best bargain. The Z06 is the best all around performance supercar.
Criteria must include:
1: price
2: hp
3: 0-60, 1/4 mile
4: top speed
5: lateral G
6: track time at some standard track VIR ?

For once the C7 Z06 is compared to a $90,000 911 and not one costing over $200,000!

You make a valid argument. Let me just go in my wallet and pull out the Z06 cash I have sitting in there.

Someone needs to do a list of HP and TQ to weight ratio of all these... that is where the real story is

There is not a performance comparable value for the dollar but performance isn't the whole story. Let's add in the five year warranty, ability to choose auto or standard, coupe or convertible, Z06 or Z07, along with style and interior comfort which has never before been seen in this car. I believe it is also the only sub 100k car to speak to and have validated 0-60 in under 3 seconds and the quarter in under 11 seconds.

There is no comparable available anywhere for the complete package. GM right now is enjoying massive sales as there is no competition for the Z.

Hellcat with 707 and 4550 lbs is over 6lbs per hp
Even under rated with 750 is still 6lbs per hp
Z06 with 650 and 3550 is 5.46

Then my 2008Z06 with headers, dyno tune and K&N filter 570 hp and 3180 has 5.40lbs. per hp

ZR1 3350 638hp has 5.25 per hp

Top dog is the a C7z06 3550 with a Halltech intake 700hp and 5.07
per lb

But look it only has two seats and costs $80k. I can get 7 people in a Dodge Caravan and spend a third of that.

It's one of the world's best performance cars. The bargain tidbit is just icing on the cake.

And don't forget the simple differences in appearances. IMO, the Vette is also the best looking!

An important point that is often ignored.

Frankly, the only two on that list that has similar power are the two dodges. The viper is impossible to life with on a daily basis and the hellcat is a one trick pony...pardon the pun.
