I hope you don't mind if I PM you with more questions to get these PIDs working. This info is gold. I'll log all of the options for a good IAT2 and post them in a separate thread next time I track. I'd like to very much test for this 3 minute pump cavitation phenomenon on my stock car.
I don't know if many folks here really appreciate the fact that you have released your data prior to having product on the market, or that it's so raw that it can't lie, or that you spent all those hours testing your sensors when people probed. I think the corvette forum is forever indebted. Sorry for prying too much, I hope you guys make the $$ on these kits. Well earned.

All this validation is how we feel everything should be with items like these. Wait till our next few steps with this platform, Z owners will be very happy with what we have planned over the next 10 months.

My assessment of the heat soak/overheating and engine bay lack of circulation - is that the lack of under hood circulation is the greatest issue.
Will your solution do anything in regards to air flow into and out of the engine bay?
Thanks!

Jake - I have one question about your product that you may have answered;

Not to mention the level of data gathered is FAR better than any other cooling 'test' or sales pitch I have seen on here!
I think this is the difference between engineers and sales guys. Engineers don't care if the data is bad it just gives them somethig else to work on. Sales guys only want to tell the good story! Lol

We made a little tool to help with intercooler bleeding. This guy plugs into the underhood fuse box, and allows you to manually control the intercooler pump while you work on the car without running the engine.
Even on a stock car, this will greatly simplify the bleeding process. Once the system is more or less full, you can turn on the pump and circulate fluid to help get all the air out.

Jake, do you guys send any instructions with that part? How does cycling the pump remove air from the stupid OEM reservoir down low?

A bit off topic but can you explain how versatile the rear wing you have on your website is? Would I be able to put a large suitcase in the trunk with it on? Can you remove the front spliter easily for road use? My driveway was used in WWII as a trench. Many cars want to pass through but few make it.

I am basically preparing my 2016 Z06 for its first track day, and was hoping the intercooler reservoir install would have gone smoothly.

Fixed Z06 low on power from reservoir upgrade.
I just installed a larger intercooler reservoir and lost power, even though the engine coolant is at 210* (93* ambient air) and no warning messages. I have ordered your GSpeed Intercooler over ride tool and hope it will fix my problem.

I followed this thread on the ZR1 and turned the car on an off 4 cycles to purge the air.
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1579878416
I was able to add an additional 3/4 of a gallon of distilled water (I just installed the Late Model Racecraft Intercooler Reservoir). This would have been alot easier with the over ride tool, and I will redo the process when i get the tool.
It did make a mess doing the purging, and I also used the little bleeder valves. The car does not gurgle when turned off. Before it gurgled and I surmise that was the air bubbles cycling through the intercooler bricks.

Great job. This might help me this year until you get your kits tested and on the market. I ran yesterday in 85ambient. My temps reached 246 ECT and @260+- EOC. First time I was able to run full sessions ( finally made all of maddog mods which might have been just enough for 85 ambient) but I really notice power loss. I am sure it pulled timing due to ECT but, I have a lot of air in my reservoir based on pictures I have seen, and no one seems to be able to get it out. I am lost on removing air from the intercooler system so your tool and instructions should really help. Especially instructions!! When will it be available for purchase? thanks again

What kind are the front end lift/drag consequences of drastically altering the airflow like this?
