Z06 as a daily?

Z06 as a daily?
So I'm in the process of getting ready to sell my 11' Shelby, I love the car to death but I feel like it's time to get a more serious machine. I daily the Shelby and have a different set of wheels/tires and brake pads I'll swap on for track days.
I'm a firm believer in that if I buy it, drive it, my Shelby is by no means a garage queen, I use it everyday. I really want a Z06 but am curious as to how 'daily driver' friendly is it? I don't care about gas mileage (I own two gas stations and a repair shop) and would be doing repairs/maintenance myself (even if things are under warranty, I'd much rather wrench on it my self). Anyone else here daily drive their Z06?

I would daily drive mine but I'm torn between the stupid idea of 'saving' it and the burning desire to drive it everywhere. My wife told me that if I don't drive it I have to sell it. I love her.

It's more a daily driver than the 11 Shelby. In touring the ride is much softer than a Shelby and in track mode it's much more connected to the road than a Shelby. And I'll throw in the perk of better mileage (you'd have to eat less into your profits)

I drive my 2015 Z06 every day. I park it in parking spots with all of the other cars. It has 28,888 miles on it and I got 23,000 on my first set of tires. I don't plan to take it to a track. It is a great car for getting around town and doing errands.

Just over 2 1/2 months and 4800 miles. I think I can claim it's my daily driver. I have driven my ISF 5 times during this time, just go transport wheels and other items didn't fit in the Z. I love this car too much not to drive

That is my daily car and no problem to report out of gas when stuck in traffic jam.
Really easy to drive and even the M7 is no problem with that much torque.

I DD my 2015 Z06 and I love it. I have been doing so for more then a year. It's creature comforts and performance are unparalleled. I previously DD a Cadillac XLR (the only other car built at Bowling Green) and there is no comparison between the Z06 and the XLR in terms of comfort and performance. The Z06 sets the bar.
Just be careful where you park and be ready for people making comments about the car, but enjoy the experience.

I DD mine. No problem. Like others have said, I'm careful where I park it.

It's definitely DD'able, but I only enjoy mine on weekends.

I daily my lowered M7 Z07 in and out of Manhattan. Just about 30k miles on it. Front splitter is fine despite what all the non Z07 owners will say.
Buy it. Drive it. Love it.
Best,
Gene
