Although this is a small technicality, on the new thread I think VIR Grand West & VIR Grand times should be combined. No one runs a Grand East Course @ VIR therefore all those times are Grand West times.

That trackaddict app is pretty solid. I got a good windshield mount and obd bluetooth module. That works damn good, I was surprised.
We need to get this thread locked so the other one grows, because I can't update this one.

Official lap times
Great post and initiative. I would also like to draw attention to www.tracklaps.net. Seems a pretty good site to keep track of lap times and it is searchable.

All updated....we are getting a couple C5 Z06's in the mix.
I also added the "Dedicated Track Car" designation for now. I may make this "slick" vs "non slick" as the level of performance we see from C7Z's and C7ZR1's really start to blur the line between dedicated track car in terms of aero/grip/power to weight/etc, so tire really may be the deciding factor.
If anyone has thoughts.. feel free.

VIR full 4/10/2018
-Your Username -- JCSIII -- 2016/C7/Z06/A8/Tire Cup2
-Track: VIR
-Layout : Full Course
-Transmission Type: A8-manual shifting
-Driving Mode/Settings: Track - Sport1
-Aero Package/Option Package/Setup: Stage 2 frt&rear
-Tires: Cup2
-Conditions/Temp: sunny low to mid 60's
-Best Time of the day/Session achieved: 2:00:868/day2 session3/lap10of13
-Modifications, if any: DSC Sport base file, dsc recommend full track alignment, Girodisc rotors, Stock calipers, carbotech XP10frt XP8rear, Borla X-pipe
-Notes (issues experienced, failures, overheat, passenger, anything pertinent that you feel affected your time, etc): No issues, Never overheated engine or trans in temps up to mid 80's. Never ran in temps over 86degrees.
Video/Data: Camera is a Garmin VIRB XE with OBD2.
Definitely room for improvement, several places where I slow the car too much and go through the turns slower than I have on other occasions. Taking a later appex in turn 1 definitely gives a better run into 2&3. Carry more speed through the upper esses and lifting at 140mph (last place I plan to improve). Getting on the gas more smoothly instead of over breathing the throttle. You can really hear the grrr of the PTM (sport mode 1) coming out of some turns. All that said VIR is a great track but it's hard to put together 17 perfect turns at your best pace through those turns. Just takes practice and reviewing your video & data. I was on a better run on the last lap but caught traffic in a bad place, had traffic after that. Front tires and brakes were at the end of their life. Big shout out to Poor-sha, watching his videos and seeing him at the track running have been a great help in improving my times, along with everyone who have shared their videos and knowledge on this forum.
