Retirement Gift!
After 28 years of the US Army, I decided one more year is all I can handle. I have been watching this forum for a long time and finally decided to pull the trigger as a retirement gift to myself. My parents drove me down to Dallas yesterday, my girlfriend and I drove back to Oklahoma last night. All I can say is WOW! I bought a 2 month old 3LZ A8, thankfully someone else took the hit, other wise I was looking at the new GS. Had everything I wanted except the red interior, but at this price I could turn it down. I look forward to learning on the forum. Time to tint and put on the splitter!

Congrats on the new ZO6 and your upcoming retirement. I have 8 years to go before I reach my military retirement. Already looking forward to it, Lol.
Grey with spectra rims is exactly how I would order this car, expect I would have purposely chosen the jet black interior. Never liked GM red interiors post C2 generation.

Congrats and thank you for your service!
After you can stop driving it everywhere you should contact PartsMonkey (forum vendor) and see what deal he can do on the interior. Mine came with blue seats and while they are nice to me the interior has a little too much blue. So I ordered black leather and am in the process of dying the stitching blue. I plan to install them on my vacation in late August. Just doing the seats, it wasn't as expensive as you'd think
