$2000 oil change...
Sorry to say this is the reason for my 1st post...
Took my beloved 2015 3LZ Z06, full Xpel wrap/Cquartz finish, into my local SoCal dealer today for an oil change at 2950 miles.
Typical rude/unhappy dealership service department employees take my car and I tell them I'll be back in 3 hrs. Go to pick it up and the service manager says he needs to show me something... My adrenaline immediately started pumping because my car is mint and so I knew it wasn't going to be good...
To make a long story short, I was told that the tech "ran into the ramp while getting ready to lift it". I was livid and they knew it. As the service manager is explaining it to me, I can see 4-5 other service employees standing around watching to see my reaction, I'm sure.
My question to all you Z06 experts is this... Other than them obviously replacing the front splitter, what else could have been damaged, broken, pushed out of place? Anything?
I'm SO bummed. In my opinion, this should NEVER happen. I told the service and sales manager that it's not like I dropped off a Chevy Spark or Malibu... It's the freakin' most expensive car your company sells! How about a little extra care????
This is the 3rd time I have been disappointed with the service department at this dealership. They will not have an opportunity for a 4th.
Not to mention that I have had a 14 Z51 Stingray, a 14 Z51 Stingray convertible, a 13 Z71 Silverado, AND a 15 Escalade Platinum edition.
You'd think I'd get a little special attention...
AHHHHHH!!!! If I had any hair, I'd pull it out.

Speaking from experience, I will say there is only one way to cure dealerships of this kind of stupidity: make phone calls up the food chain.
Eventually, you will get someone who will take your concerns seriously and ream the management of the dealer involved.
At a minimum, they will regret not taking better care of customers.

At least they told you... imagine if they said nothing or stated it was already like that...

Looks like you allready had a little scrape damage anyways. If they are going to buy you a new splitter take the offer and run. I think it's a fabulous idea to get a spare and put it on the shelf for when it's needed.
I know this is upsetting I get it. But keep in mind it was definitely an accident. Also the poor service guy is probably going to have to pay for the repair.

What a nightmare. I'm like you when it comes to my Z. After 1 year my car is in perfect condition. The last thing you want is to have car damaged at dealership. Accidents do happen. The dealership I go to in Florida is a very large Corvette dealership. They have a drive thru bay which does not require lifting the car. I never leave and watch the entire process. OCD!
I'm sure the dealership will make it right as they should.
Good Luck

While I feel your pain we all make mistakes. As much as we feel special about these cars they are not that big of deal to most folks and the dude at the dealership does oil changes. He is no rocket scientist.
I had 2 incidents with my corvettes. First one they shoved the radiator thru the hood, (I had a custom engine bay, ugly damage) while trying to jack it up to do some painting under the front end. My 14 C7, they cracked the rocker panels @ an oil change.
In both cases the employees at the dealership were watching for my reaction. I said loud enough for all to hear.......... was this an accident or did you do it on purpose? They said accident to which I replied we all make them. They treated me like royality and fixed the issue.
At the end of the day its just a car. Took my brand new Z back to the same "tech" who did the deed on the 14......... he was surprised but he learned a lesson.

Of course you are pissed and upset. However, what's done is done. Have them replace it and compensate you with some free service of some sort. You can't let this eat you up.

I don't blame you for being upset. I would be too. Unfortunately, many of the dealers treat you and your car like it's a Malibu. I would have it replaced and go to a dealer that services Z06's on a regular basis.
The dealership I bought my Z from sells and services alot of them. Their lift is flat and is driven onto and raises from the floor, effectively eliminating this type of damage. I put a 4 post lift in my garage and normally do my own oil changes but I wanted a record of my 500 mile oil change. They were excellent. The service rep was very pleasant and the tech does all the Z06's.

Not acceptable but mistakes happen. I doubt they were happy having to inform you.
On the other hand, it's just a consumable component like brake pads. Bolt a new one on and you're good to go. That's why I get ACS splitters in primer and paint them satin black with rattle cans. I keep a spare in the garage as it's a consumable.
This is why I can't comprehend paying to have one of these pieces painted or carbon fiber. An off track excursion is all it takes or even speed bumps, holes in the road, steep driveways, etc.

Same thing happened to me. Dealer gave me replacement splitter plus a few hundred in cash for a separate incident that I haven't discussed on the forums. But I had to speak to the owner.

simple. quit giving them money! five high-dollar vehicles, probably all from there

I wouldn't be too upset over this as the service manager owned up to the issue. In fact, I think I would be pretty happy and thank him for telling me rather than trying to hide it (I've had another brand dealer do that to me in the past).
Things happen and this is a minor thing. Had they not told you, or not accepted responsibility... then you get upset. Life is too short to let the little stuff bother you and get you worked up!

Accidents happen. At least it didn't involve paint. The dealership claimed responsibility. Let them bolt on a new one and bring home a few oil filters and be happy.

OMG stuff happens $2000 oil change, sure was expecting more from your post......................They owned up to it, more than many places do. If you were so unhappy why did you go back
They should treat ALL cars with care not those who convey attitudes because of what they own.
Get it fixed and move on and like the other poster said looks like you had some existing damage
