Default Cleartastic film

Has anyone had experience with this product? I sent away for the kit that provides the pre-cut film strips for the rear fender flares. I haven't installed it yet....

It just sounds like something that you would get from Ronco or Popeil.

I have used their products and I like them. I just put on a set of the rear quarter panel pieces and they turned out good and provide protection where you need it.

Thanks for the reply Beretta.
Are the film strips very noticeable on the car or do they blend in OK? Worried that I am going to add an "eye catcher" that I may not want.

I had them on when I first got my Z. you can't beat the protection for under hundred bucks. The area behind the front wheels was a bitch to put on while the rest was a piece of cake.

yea you can noticed them on the car if you look closely but clearbra you can too.

You can see the edge, it is most noticeable right above the wheel on the quarter panel. This is true with any paint film if it doesn't completely cover a panel. The entire front end of my car is covered in paint film and you cannot tell it.
That being said you can't really see the seam until you are 2-3 feet away, at least with my eyes lol

The film will come right off just get one corner started and it is very easy to remove, and clean up is a breeze.

Great product, EZ install. Imperfections (from a novice installer like myself) usually disappear after curing as well as being in the sun..... Used it on my C6

I started seeing some tiny dings in the paint after 1000 miles..... ordered a set of the rear panel protectors luckily my neighbor has a vinyl sign business and works with this kind of stuff all the time...so i watched him put them on... problem solved.... its not totally invisible to me .. I have to point them out for anyone else..... well worth it and a cheep fix
