I never received anything. I knew the school came with the purchase of a new car so I called Spring Mountain and provided the VIN and my name and asked about the school. They said we will call you back and I got a call a short while later asking me when I wanted to attend.

My wife would love to go take the class with me but we are not gonna pay the full price for her to do it. Would be nice if GM would offer the deal to both husband and wife.
Just to be sure you are aware, she can still go and stay in the condos and have meals with you. Course if she really wants to attend the class and drive, this info doesn't help.

As I recall, a group of wives jammed to Vegas in a Van and had a rip-roaring time together.....

I agree. It makes sense for GM as well, as a couple is much more likely to be a repeat Corvette customer if both spouses are bought in, and nothing buys you in faster than a day at the track behind the wheel!

Guys get creative ... a step-brother is considered immediate family...and chances are you wont have the same last name...GM has to approve the transfer to family members ... PM me if you want to hear more

Yup... or even a sibling. My brother went with me last year since I had a Z51 and then a Z06. I used my Z51 VIN to register him the same time with me... obviously I drove the Z06 there.

It's worth it... the experience alone is worth it especially if you have never tracked or hardly ever frequent the track. Even for some seasoned track rats like me, it's still worth the trip... just approach it with an open mind. The second day (afternoon sessions) is the most fun due to the most track time out there.

Met some good peeps too...

No, the Corvette Owner's school only operates out of Spring Mountain at this time.

Not sure why those who say they won't use it can't go, but try. I've been once with my Z51 purchase, took my wife, she rode all day both days with instructors and loved it, and so did I.

Will definitely using the cert for the recent Z06 purchase.

JUST DO IT!
