Question for automatic (A8) ZO6 owners

My A8 adjusts to my driving attitude. If I am aggressive the transmission changes with me. I find it incredible. For me it's one of those "I don't know how they do it" things.
However having written that if I had to do it all over I would have gotten the manual. I thought I would like driving the auto but I find a lack of "link" between me and the street that I have with the manual. This is not a knock on the transmission but just an old guy missing the FUN of shifting.
on another note I took my SRX in for service and they lent me a '17 version. (can't remember the name) The transmission is a pain to get into any gear and reminds me of the past auto's in some Chrysler products. Not fun.

No problems
My car sits from late December until March I do leave it on trickle charge and have no problems starting or driving as soon as I jump in. The A8 has been fantastic very responsive and I have had 0 issues. Have 10,000 miles on the car and it is my daily driver until the temps get into the teens.

I have 18k miles on my 15Z, I've driven in winter months with temps at 20* . I drive it cautiously till it warms up and then it runs fine just can't drive it to aggressively when it's below 50*.
Good Luck with you purchase.

Got my 2016 A8 Z06 last fall. Trans works great - no lag, no "warm-up" necessary, shifts perfectly.

My 2016 just turned a year old 7000 miles on it . Not a daily driver but its been out in temps 30 to over 100.... it was tucked away for 3 months... love the A8 no issues
