--LG Motorsports-- Anna, TX World HQ Build Thread
For those of you that are not from the area, or have not heard we sold our newest building in Plano, TX last year and have been working on a new site bigger and better than any prior facility we have done.
This is all 100% owned and built by LG Motorsports and will be home to some truly amazing features and amenities we have not been able to do in the past.
We will have two new buildings there. LG HQ building will be approx 50,000 sq ft and will have an additional 20k sq ft of part storage upstairs.
We are going to have a second building next door that will be home to a few of our new plans - stay tuned- (artist rendering)
I heard something about this Anthony in Calif. Another new building makes what? Two in 3 years? That's a lot of construction. It's looking good tho. I'll have to stop by next time I'm in the area. Best of luck!

Hopefully we are moving in at the first of the year so let me know, hopefully it will not be snowing like it was the last time you came through!
Clearly these artists aren't from Texas, my company has a design for a new building and like your artist rendering ours is populated without a single truck!

Lifting Tilt wall panels--Day 2 building 2 as of today. Walls are up plus some Steel joists
We should be moving in around Dec or January, We are actually building in "WestMinster" which is defunct now so it has an Anna Zip Code.
9 miles north of McKinney off 121 = Google WestMinster Tx and you will find it easily. We are exactly across from the "WestMinster Water Tower".

I am acting as the GC on the job.
Much simpler and much harder at the same time as building a Race Car!
Simpler in that there are less items to consider.
Harder because of the sheer size of each item.
Nothing is small and nothing can be done with a small crew. It was awesome watching the panels that my guys poured and formed on the slab then lifted in place.
Now think about what would happen if the building was not laid out square and the last panel didn't line up with the first one???? OMG
But just like squaring up a race car but it is 120' x 170' with NO WHEELS on it.

Would have been better using our Insulated Metal Panels instead of Tilt-Up Concrete!

$103 Per yard plus a $10 fuel surcharge for 3000 psi
So total for 3000 PSI = $113 even though Diesel is around only $2 / gal

Wow, we're paying about 135 a yard in VT. Wow, I'm surprised they're whacking you the fuel surcharge buying that many yards. Hopefully you were able to negotiate better terms than the average Joe when you selected your supplier.
I commend you on taking on such a big project while you still have your business going. it's no small task!!

the total job is 4000 yards.
Yes we found the best price but also the best value because we needed a company that could deliver (Value) and not drag out the delivery of the Concrete.
They were all around the same $$ so we went with a known quantity
I am lucky to have good guys running the show at both places. Anthony and the gang get to see me in the afternoon and the Job Site sees me in the morning.
