I would start with a local dealer or maybe a Discount Tire Store if there is one near you. If it has a slow leak keep putting air into it until you get it repaired. The stock tires can be driven with no air up to 50 miles at 50 mph and still be repairable, but if you keep adding air on a slow leaker you can extend that distance and speed a lot. The nice thing is you can still enjoy the car.

Not sure if this is what you are asking but, Do not try to use a repaired tire on the track. I can attest to the fact that it will not last.

We can end this thread. The Firestone shop in Chesterfield can/will do Mich. tires. Puncture was not repairable. New Mich SS front tire $440 installed. Thinking I should have gotten the road hazard warranty.

WOW!!! I don't know all the details to you situation but I can tell you that I had a bolt in my tire and Costco repaired it for $10.00. The dealer where I was at said they weren't able to be repaired. I went on to Tire Rack site and they said our tires car be repaired at least one time maybe 2 times. I can't remember for sure. Usually the places that say you shouldn't repair them are the ones that just want to sell you a new tire. I have had mine patched for around 6000 miles now and have been at speeds up to 170 MPH with no problems. Again go onto Tireracks website and do some searching and you will see that it is okay to patch our tires...

Thanks tp 1016 Z06, took the tire to SAM's Club. They repaired it (double patch) for free. Cancelled the new tire order, saved $440 and I'm back on the road. (Dobbs mounted the tire with no problem, Sam's didn't have the equipment).

No!! I'm saying take it to one of them and for like $10 or so they will fix it. The guys at the one by me let me come in the garage and watch them do it. They took their time and didn't put any marks on my wheels.

Note: Sam's repaired the tire for free, BUT...they were not able to mount it. I had had the tire removed at a tire store that had the right equipment for our rims. That shop said the tire was not repairable (penetration angle greater than 25*) and wanted to sell me a new one. I took the tire to Sams, for the 'double patch' repair, no problem - in fact the angle was right at 25*. I then had to take the tire and rim to a third tire shop (Dobbs) to have it mounted because the first shop said they would not mount an 'un-repairable' tire. Dobbs had no problem mounting and inflating the tire with their new(?) equipment.
Hope this clears up the confusion.

Costco did it all with no problems. Again go onto Tire rack website and you will find the info about our tires being able to be repaired. Awesome info. I printed the info off and took it to a dealer and they still didn't want to do it. I was out of town so it wasn't my local Chevy dealer so I told them what I thought of them and left. If you don't have a Costco around you I don't know what to tell you. I would definitely Print the Tire rack info out and take to the tire shop that won't do it.
