Default A little Stage 1 to Stage 3 aero help

I bought the following:

- Side Skirts
- Front Splitter
- Front winglets
- Rear wing end pieces and wickerbill

So quick questions. Do I still need the deflector for under the front splitter (pictured below). And do I need to order 4 screws for the wicker bill, part #23155297. And finally is that part # for 1 screw or 4.

You should have gotten the 4 longer screws with the wickerbill, and I would leave the deflectors on. You really do not need the tray under the splitter.

The wickerbill needs longer screws too Install. Did you by a aftermarket wickerbill?

The 4 center screws are about 1/4 " longer for the center part.

The undertray adds some strength to the splitter and helps protect it from damage when crossing various things it couls catch or rub on.

I doubt GM put in on for that so I suspect it also provides an aerodynamic improvement by covering the hole behind the splitter and reducing turbulence under the car. Automakers are not in the habit of installing parts that provide no function other than for style. The undertray can only be seen if the car runs over you.

I would check Ace Hwd. if there is one local to you. The one near me now has both SAE and Metric in black chrome. Both washers and button head allen bolts of various lengths and thread pitch.

Chris,

I am out of town until Monday evening, but glad for you to come by and take a look at my stage 3 setup. I'm just a few miles down the road.

Andy
