I mean how bad is it to go up to 700 miles before the first oil change? I had a plan to do it at 500, but obviously all the BS has screwed my plan up from day 1.

Considering I drove all the way back from Criswell in MD to TX w/o issue in the '15 Z51 I really wouldn't be sweating it. Now if that was all track mileage that might be a different story.

Don't sweat it.
I picked up my Z06 in New Jersey and planed to drive it home 700 miles the same day.I researched about the oil change at 500 before and concluded that it really was not an issue. I would just get it changed at the next opportunity. Be glad that there's not any more issues with your car.

Just got it all washed up and clean so feeling better about it already. Not really happy they drove it in still but not worried about it as much. Thanks for sharing yalls experiences, I'm just gonna leave it in the garage and get it in the dealer tomorrow morning for the first oil change.

unfortunately I live close to 205 and 30 in Rockwall lol. I've memorized where the holes are though, until new ones pop up.

It happens to them all bud, more benz's get the hook in the first week than any other car out there. I have been in the service world more than 20yrs and they all get the hook. I blame where the parts are being made. Sure it's sad but I see it getting worse than better.

Hate that highway. When I go to the bash, I take I-20 to I-65 and come north. Even Little Rock and Memphis have become a nightmare to navigate.

My 14 Z-51 was built in Nov, 2013. I drove it like 4000 miles before GM decided that Z-51's needed an oil change at 500 miles. Never noticed any harm from that. Good thing to do but don't feel any harm is done if it is over 500 miles.
