Default Halltech CAI - CEL????

I just installed the Halltech CAI on my z06 and the CEL (Check engine light) came on. Any ideas?

I made sure the MAF sensor and all appropriate wires were fully plugged in. Car runes fine. Temps are fine, etc.

May disappear after a couple ignition cycles. Did you disconnect the battery when you installed?

That happens all the time if you do not disconnect the battery. Just shut the engine off, open and close the hood, and it is gone.

Alternately, you can disconnect the batter post install, wait 1 minute, reconnect and it will be gone.

The ECM is still looking at the sensors when the engine is off. The MAF sensor being disconnected for a period of time, causes the code. Simple to eliminate and it will not be in the list of codes.
