Right now it seems like the BMS is the hot ticket due to their larger flange opening. Would you might sharing the size of the Blue's? I really prefer how the Blue is cleanable vs. the disposable paper design of the BMS. The slightly larger-than-stock design of the filter is great too. Thanks!
However when designing the C7 Attack Blue filter, based on the testing we did, we received more gains, more torque, a snappier response and a much smoother ride (no surging) by increasing the diameter of the filter in areas other then the mouth.
However the biggest plus which should not be overlooked is the Attack Blue's media itself.
We did not want to just use the same old media technology. We wanted to raise the bar even further by using a unique Nanofiber media.
It’s a fact that Nanofiber technology is key to the absolute best filtration without being restrictive to airflow. Nanofibers are ultra fine and are so much thinner than traditional spun fibers so you can pack more fibers in the same amount of space which creates more obstacles to stop particulate from passing through without sacrificing air flow. It filtrates down to sub micron!
Most filters are tested via the standard ISO 5011 filtration testing which can be subject to speculation. So we upped it and tested our media to a much more restrictive standard which was ASHREA 52.2 (for breathing air) and tested down to submicron particles.
So yeah, our larger design creates more power, yes the filter is washable, but lets not forget what the filters main purpose is...
