Default Any battery maintainer connections under hood?

So, I parked my 2016 Z06 in the winter storage area about 3 weeks ago after it sat in my garage for about 3 weeks without driving it. Long story short, I went to start it to move it today and the battery is too low to crank it over to start it. I can open the doors, lights come on, etc but I can't get the rear compartment to come open so I can put my battery tender on it to try to recharge it. So, I've two questions. Is there a remote manual release for the rear compartment or is there someplace to connect the tender under the hood. I don't think I can get to what appears to be a positive connection on the rear of the fuse box. There are plenty of places to connect the ground.
Thanks in advance.

Positive terminal under cover back of underhood fuse box.
Negative terminal connection
Wire path.
Quick connect plug. Wire is wrapped in microfiber and runs over the hood which is xpel protected.

Did it like this because the factory charger runs through hatch and every now and then wife and or kids use the overhead door as opposed to the side garage door and Scares the heck out of me lol.

Another option is to use the key to open the rear hatch as covered on page 38 of the 2016 vehicle manual.

Jim, that's true except for that the OP asked about under hood connections

10-4, but he said he could not get the rear hatch to open so he could charge the battery from there, hence the need for under hood info.

I ran my CTek cable directly to the two main lugs. They're about 16" apart so you have to split the wires apart, no big deal. It works, anyway.

If you have the cigarette lighter adapter which I use to plug in the receptacle in the rear hatch, why not plug that in on your console?

The console/dash cigarette lighter is not live when the key is off, so will not charge.
