So I'm building my Vette and I'm thinking of going with the carbon fibre exposed roof. I would personally like to have both the red roof that comes with the car, as well as the carbon fibre roof as my second roof option, So basically a dual roof option like the glass roof. So I'm going though the options, so they have the standard 'visible carbon fibre roof panel with body surround' for $1995, so I'm assuming the car comes with just the carbon roof. Now I'm the corvette accessories at the end of the build there is an option for $2100 for a removable roof panel, an upon clicking on it it says 'removable roof panel, carbon fibre'. So I'm somewhat confused. Can you get a second carbon fibre roof on top of your standard body coloured one that comes with the car for $2100? Yet in the exterior section you pay $1995 for JUST the one carbon roof. I just can't see a person getting an extra roof for $100 difference. So I'm somewhat confused lol...anyone?

The regular dual roof package will get you the body colored and transparent top.

It is really confusing, there appears to be 5 options and it is unclear as to what the 5th option is

it is confusing. I love having all these options but it's just a little unclear. I would love to have my factory torch red roof, along with the carbon roof panel though...so I'm not sure what that last one is about..

The standard roof is carbon fiber and painted.

#1 Is for the transparent roof only; standard roof still is included;
#2 Is for the visible carbon fiber roof;
#3 Dual CFV + transparent roof option;
#4 Dual standard + transparent roof option;
#5 Standard roof (available under "Accessories").

Not available...#2 is for the standard PLUS the CFV.

It is the same on the `16 model.

After looking some more, it appears the #2 is JUST for the CFV roof; no standard roof.

The car I was going to buy had exposed CF, I didn't see another roof in the trunk and highly doubt the dealer kept it elsewhere

So we still don't know what option #5 is

My guess is you would select option #5 if you opt for the exposed CF roof and also want the standard roof essentially making a "dual roof package" for $4,100

Option #5 is included under "Accessories" and as such is a standard roof if one wishes to have that roof if they select the CFV roof or dual roof options.
