Had to trade her in for something I can enjoy and share with the wife and precious kiddos.

You could have shared the Corvette with your family.....just one passenger at a time.

Ctsv is nice, but I fell in love the first time I saw the C63s.

I'm usually out of town on business during the week and the only time to enjoy the car is the weekend which is also the only time I have with the family.

Dammit lol. I can't even tell anymore which is which especially in pics. I test drove a s63 AMG and it was amazing and even considered getting a c63 AMG S. Mercedes knows what they are doing with the AMG line of car. My dad just got a GL63 AMG and has a S600 and they are amazing. That is one mean looking car. How do you like it so far? Enjoy it man!!!

I've only had it for a week and driven only 200 miles. The power is good, sufficient, useable, but not insane like the Z. Already a rattle on the roof. The inside feel so much more luxurious. Feel quite a bit roomier inside. Sound system is better. Exhaust sounds really good, not quite as loud as the Z, drone is always on which I don't care for, love the burble on deceleration. Exterior and interior fit and finish is much better. The coolest feature I've discovered: if you pump the brake pedal at a red light, you can release the pedal and it will lock the brakes until you step on the gas pedal. Front and rear traction is really good with stock 255 front and 285 rear. The car feel planted, light, and under control. The 7 speed transmission feels much smoother than the 8 speed in the Z.

We looked at the MB and decided to go with the corvette. We have had a series of MBs over the years and a CLK AMG, but it was the 55. It was a nice car and fun and a whole lot more practical. But, honestly we love the C7 Z06, you have to respect it and understand what it is. Have fun in your MB. A big part of the allure of the corvette is the camaraderie of the club and the social aspects.

You went from a Z06 to a C-Class? I'm sorry.

DISCLAIMER: Mercedes AMG models are my favorite cars money can buy.

Best of luck and wanting to spend time with multiple kids while driving makes sense to move to the cool c63s.

Best wishes.

Your z06 was bad ***...how much did they offer you in trade in?

There's nothing wrong with getting rid of the Z06 for all of the right reasons. Enjoy your new Mercedes.

64 plus another 5 negotiated in the overall deal. Big big loss for 20 months of ownership.

Amazing how the wheels on that Merc are nearly identical to the outgoing Z06's.

not sure of your state tax rate but at least you got that credit on the new purchase right? and that hit is one of the reasons i jumped on a leftover Z06 vs a 17. if i EVER had to relieve myself of this one even at what you were offered after 20mos i'd be very ok with that lol

beautiful Benz. you're doing it for the right reasons, i would just like to add, you can always go back to a vette down the road if then benz doesn't fulfill the urge/void (which until you go vette-less you won't know!). best of luck with it

Those C63's are very nice...and they haul ****!! I've seen some E63's running 10's at the drag strip with just a tune (if the owner it to be believed). They def. run out...

nice trade - curious how the AMG feels in comparison (ride, acceleration, subjective feel)?
