Sounds like a good idea as long as your other mods would be limited to CAI, ported TB and X-Pipe. Then....to get more from the headers and other mods you could purchase a custom tune from a Diablosport CMR tuner. Having said that a custom street tune topped off with max power tuning on dyno yields best performance...but kills warranty.

Sounds like a good idea as long as your other mods would be limited to CAI, ported TB and X-Pipe. Then....to get more from the headers and other mods you could purchase a custom tune from a Diablosport CMR tuner. Having said that a custom street tune topped off with max power tuning on dyno yields best performance...but kills warranty.

This is a Long Tube Header Thread.
The Headers you mentioned are Mid-Length
ARH Mid Length Headers in most cases do not require a tune. Some C7's do code
with ARH Mid Length, and in order to get the code to go away, you will need a tune.
(there is no way to know if they will code on your particular C7 or not, but it does happen,
you will have to tuned it out)
As well, if you are not Tuning ARH Mid Length Headers, you are leaving power, performance and gas mileage on the table
